DOE will use the Government Regulatory Impact Model, with an adaptation for ovens that can be microwaved to determine the industry's net present value (NPV).
Manufacturer impacts will be evaluated also as the impact on manufacturers will be evaluated. DOE will employ a modified version of the Industry Cash Flow model adapted for this type of product to calculate manufacturing NPV.
